This year we decided to stay locally for summer. Usually we like to travel to the Greek islands as they feel like home but with a little twist!
This summer we rented a house for the three months of school holidays in the much renowned town of Ayia Napa. All the youngsters (early twenties...) will have heard of this party town. Its something between Ibiza and Mykonos. Great party life as well as great beaches. Being parents to young kids we didn't really do the partying, we spent our time lazying around on beaches and eating in great restaurants. I hadn't been to the Ayia Napa areas ever since i had my kids and it was a nice surprise to see that there are still so many tourists and so many great places to have a good time. There are many clubs and bars, restaurants catering to every need, cafes with a whole menu just for their coffees and of course beautiful beaches.
Over all we enjoyed our island this summer!
